Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti Extreme Edition – 1100MHz Core Clock!

By

It appears that ZOTAC is really starting to push some radical video card designs. The most recent innovation from ZOTAC is what appears to be an Extreme Edition model of the recently released GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphics card. This video card features a custom PCB design and a rumored 1100MHz or 1.1GHz clock speed on the 1344 CUDA cores. The boost goes up to 1202MHz and the 2GB GDDR5 memory is clocked at 1650MHz (6600MHz effective). The GPU cooler uses twin fans to cool an aluminum fin array that is attached to a copper base plate with five 9mm heatpipes. The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 660 Ti Extreme Edition features a 8+3+1 Phase VRM for increased stability and enhanced overclocking performance. No word on pricing, but we have a feeling it will be well above the $299 SRP of the standard NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti video card.
