Intel Core i5 2500k Test System
Before I jump into the games we tested, lets go over what we are using in our test system. Our tests were done on a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 and our benchmarks were performed with no other background software running.
Our AMD Graphics cards were tested using Catalyst 12.6 beta drivers and our Nvidia cards are tested using GeForce 301.24 WHQL drivers.
The Intel P67 platform that we used in our testing is an Asus P67 Sabertooth, running on BIOS 2302. Our Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz memory kit is set at 1600MHz with timings of 8-8-8-24 1T using 1.5v. Our Crucial C300 64GB SSD is running on firmware version 0007.
