The front of our packaging shows us the XFX logo, as well as a small graphic of how the Double Dissipation system works. We can also see that it the XFX 7870 Black Edition is a PCI Express 3.0 card, with 2GB of GDDR5 memory.
Flipping the box around to the back, we get several graphics of games, showing the differences in previous generations of graphics vs the new 7000 series capabilities. We also see down at the bottom the available outputs, which are a single link DVI, a dual link DVI, an HDMI, and two Mini Display Port connectors.
Looking to the side of the box we have our part number, as well as the key features and specifications of the XFX 7870 Black Edition.
Keeping in traditional XFX style, when we opened the outside box we found a black cardboard box which has the XFX logo and XFX website on it.
Once we open the box we found all of our paperwork and accessories, conveniently organized in a smaller cardboard tray.
Lifting that smaller cardboard tray up showed us what we all came to see, the XFX 7870 Black Edition.
Once we got everything opened up and layed out we see that we have our standard installation guide, driver CD, warranty info, crossfire bridge, XFX door hanger, and of course the GPU itself.
