XFX Radeon HD 6850 Black Edition Video Card Review
XFX Radeon HD 6850 Video Card Packaging
So, I know you are going to ask, “Hey, what does it look like at the store?” Well, here we can see that the front of the box looks just like the card inside except bigger and, of course, it has some useful information for us as well. I wouldn’t want anyone to get lost at the store and buy the wrong thing.
The back of the box features the same motif as the front with the black red and silver colors and, like the front, the back gives us the features and specs of the card.
Here we see the left side of the box and it gives a bit of information regarding some of the video card’s features.
A quick look at the other side panel of the box gives us an idea of what the top of the actual card looks like.
Inside the box there is actually another box. I know, I am confused, too. A box in a box. We can see that this inner box has the XFX logo and website printed on it. But hey, where is our 6850?
Ahhhh, OK; so inside the inner box I see that there are some manuals and a driver disk. I think I need to dig a bit further; I still don’t see “The Card”.
OK, now I am happy, here we can all see the anti-static bag that houses the XFX Radeon HD 6850 Video Card all nestled nice and neat in its safe “Inner Box”.
And last, but not least, we get a closer look at the bundle inside the inner box. One item that is conspicuously missing from this bundle is any sort of DVI adapter. Every card comes with a DVI adapter; at around $20 extra for the black edition you would think they would include one.
