Xbox One Update Alpha Build Adds Achievement Sorting and More
Xbox One insiders may be able to download a new alpha build preview that adds some new features to the console. The alpha build is available for some players who are part of the Insider Program. Among the new features in that alpha build is a cross-game list of upcoming Achievements.
This allows gamers to see what Achievements they are closest to and launch the game to go after those goals. The list also allows gamers to sort Achievements by how rare they are. Mini Game Hubs are also available in the guide allowing you to access game content from the games you played recently without leaving the Game Hub.
Microsoft has also added some tweaks to social settings in the Alpha build. One of those tweaks is a Do Not Disturb online status that suppresses notifications and lets friends know you are unavailable. Comments on community posts are also tweaked to allow you to see the most recent comments and who has liked them.
Narrator is also able to read large amounts of text. New inactivity shutdown options are being added to power mode. These allow you to shut the console down after two, three, four, and five hours of inactivity. There may be other features added for some users in an effort to gain feedback reports GameSpot.
