What’s Big for Square Enix at E3 2015
While Square Enix is known for Final Fantasy and its spinoffs, it also has plenty of other big hits to preview at E3 this year. The biggest fuel for Square Enixs hype train would be its long standing Kingdom Hearts series and its next title, Kingdom Hearts 3. While there have been numerous fill in and spinoff titles in the series, Kingdom Hearts 2 was released a decade ago and the long awaited next numbered title is sure to be the center of attention after last years brief showing. Fans have waited a long time for this sequel and with the gameplay innovations from previous titles, it should look to be the best in the series so far.
Bravely Second, the sequel to the turn based RPG that was released for the 3DS, could also be making an appearance at the press conference. Bravely Default was praised for its job based system and turn-based combat that was a throwback to the older titles in the Final Fantasy series. While Final Fantasy 15 wont have a full showing until Gamescon later this year, Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn, will most certainly be there due to deliver a preview of the big expansion coming up. Expect to see more of the new features of the expansion titled, Heavensward at the show; including mounts new job classes and high level content.
Another big title that was recently announced was that of, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, a sequel to the 2011 shooter/rpg. There should be a pretty good showing for this game considering the popularity of Human Revolution, as well as the previous Deus Ex Titles.
Last but not least is the sequel to the 2013 Tomb Raider called, Rise of the Tomb Raider. Although this is a Square Enix game, it may get more attention at the Microsoft booth and conference due to its exclusivity on the Xbox consoles.
