Benchmark Results: With Crystal Mark v2.2 run with both a file size of 50MB and 100MB, a performance difference can be observed. With the file size at 50MB the WD Scorpio Black 320GB hard drive had much better read and write speeds as you can see from the screen shots above.

50MB Files Test Comparison Chart: The WD Scorpio Black 320GB hard drive was slightly faster than the Seagate Momentus 7200.3 in the 512K read test, but that was the only test that it was faster in.
