Wacoms Bamboo Paper for iPad Free Until July

Wacom has developed a creative and fun interface product for the Apple iPad called Bamboo Paper. This application turns your iPad into a virtual notebook which allows you to share ideas and concepts with handwritten notes, sketches, or doodles. Bamboo Paper takes advantage of Wacom’s experience and expertise in pen based input by offering a natural and realistic writing and sketching application tool. Bamboo paper can also be used in many different ways such as a presentation tool in business to share notes or drawings by connecting the IPad to a projector. Bamboo Paper is the first iPad app made by Wacom which adds a new experience to the existing range of input devices and available for free until June 30th at the Apple App Store, after which it will sell for $1.99(USD).

The go-anywhere, work-anywhere nature of the iPad opens the door for applications like Bamboo Paper. “The iPad is the ultimate multi-tasking tool for entertainment, business, school and home use. Bamboo Paper adds a whole new dimension to the iPad workflow and gives users new ways to express themselves in a personalized fashion,” said Peter Kurstjens, Director of Applications and Platforms for Wacom. “Having a digital notebook such as Bamboo Paper for the iPad delivers a true-to-life pen and paper experience, allowing users to reach heightened levels of creativity and collaboration.”
