VIA Announces VIA Telecom to Sell Part of its Assets

Taipei, Taiwan, 31 July, 2015 – VIA Technologies, Inc. today announced that VIA Telecom has reached a definitive agreement to sell part of its assets to an undisclosed buyer. Assuming satisfactory customary closing conditions, the company anticipates that the transaction will be completed by the end of the third quarter. The company evaluates that the transaction will contribute an investment gain of around US$100 million.
