The V-MODA REVAMP headphones were designed to offer seductive styling and supernatural sound. We have to say that V-MODA has done just that with these headphones and the construction and audio quality is superb. Even the most diehard True Blood fan will have problems finding a fault with these!

We couldn’t help but notice that the V-MODA REVAMP look very similar to the V-MODA Remix Audio/Remote headphones. Besides the obvious styling differences the ear buds, drivers, Kevlar cabling and 45 segree 2.5mm stereo plug look identical. The V-MODA Remix headphones range in price from $31-$69, so at $99.99 shipped, you are most certainly paying for that HBO licensing fee and the True Blood motif. You likely knew that coming into this review though, so this is one of those items that you shouldn’t mind paying more for. Since the markup is more than triple it is something we need to point out to our readers.

The only negative that we could find with the REVAMP was that when the Kevlar cord rubs on your clothes, you can hear it. The 2.2mm cored is thicker and stiffer than most of the inexpensive models on the market today, so it takes some getting used to, especially if you workout with these on in a gym. The annoying rubbing sounds that travel up the cord and into your ear and are tough to ignore. When you aren’t moving around this isn’t an issue.

At the end of the day the V-MODA’s True Blood themed REVAMP headphones sounded great and offer an impressive bundle to go along with them. They are not for the audiophile looking for the ultimate sound, but you don’t get that in ear buds that are under $100. Those that appreciate music with clarity and love HBO’s True Blood will find these to be the perfect headphones. They also make a great conversation piece for when your friends come over! The included earhooks, shirt clip, carrying pouch and various sized silicone fittings also make it feel like you are getting more bang for your buck.

Legit Bottom Line: The V-MODA REVAMP in-ear headphones are ideal for the millions who identify with True Blood’s alluring, sexy style and are good enough that even immortals would cherish them.
