Using Wi-Fi? Firesheep may endanger your security

By

A Firefox extension known as “Firesheep” can allow users to “sidejack” your PC when connected to a ahared Wi-Fi network. This could allow then access to make changes to and access data from any account you are logged into through your browser like web email, Facebook, Twitter, financial accounts, etc. It may be especially dangerous for web devices like smartphones and iPads because there are limited options to securing the browser. Best way to prevent intrusion for now? Don’t use public Wi-Fi.

I’m sitting in a coffee shop. At a table against the opposite wall is a guy named Michael C. I’ve never seen him before. However, I know his name (including his last name, which I’m deliberately not saying here) because right now we’re using the same Wi-Fi network and he’s logged in to his Facebook and Google accounts.
