Top 15 Cities in America for Video Gaming
By
Microsoft and Sperling’s BestPlaces today bestowed on Seattle the title of top video gaming city in the United States. Seattle edged out larger metropolitan areas such as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., as the center of the interactive entertainment universe for both console and Microsoft Windows-based PC gaming in a survey analyzing select consumer behaviors in the gaming industry. I’m glad to see St. Louis on the list and ranked 7th at that!
The top 15 U.S. gaming cities are as follows:
- Seattle
- Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn.
- Atlanta
- Detroit
- Phoenix-Mesa, Ariz
- Washington, D.C.
- St. Louis
- Boston
- San Diego
- Philadelphia
- Chicago
- Dallas
- Houston
- San Francisco
- New York
