Titanfall 2 to Launch with Single Player Campaign
Electronic Arts officially announced the release date and inclusion of single player content for Titanfall 2, Respawn Entertainment’s sequel to Titanfall in 2014, during the EA Play livestreamed press conference at E3 2016. Titanfall 2 will once again feature first-person shooter and mech combat in an expanded multiplayer experience that will included six new Titans, new abilities and customizations, and a progression system. Titanfall 2 will most notably feature an offline single player campaign unlike its predecessor which only had multiplayer gameplay.

The single player campaign in Titanfall 2 will follow veteran Titan mech, BT 7274, and its pilot, Militia rifleman Jack Cooper as the story explores the bond between man and machine. Stranded behind enemy lines and facing overwhelming odds, the two must uphold a mission they were never meant to carry out.
Titanfall 2 will be released on October 28 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. At some time before then, Respawn Entertainment will host an open technical test which will give players a chance to try out the multiplayer mode.
