Thermolab Baram CPU Cooler Review
Overall Impressions
With the Baram out of the box it looks like any other tower cooler. If you look through the fins you make out 3 columns of heatpipes; this should help air get to more of the heatpipes. There are five U shaped pipes, giving ten vertical pipes for heat dissipation.
Looking from the top of the Baram we can see the patented fin arrangement that was mentioned on the box. Down each side of the cooling fins are notches for use with spring clips for mounting fans.
Thermolab says that the Baram’s fin shape and heatpipe arrangement will promote better airflow and heat dissipation as the above diagram from Thermolabs website shows.
Looking at the base, we can get a better look at the interesting bend combinations needed to get the heatpipes in the arrangement Thermolab was after.
The surface finish of the base is quiet nice as well.
