Thermaltake Announces New Toughpower & SMART Series Power Supplies
Thermaltake recently expanded both the Toughpower and the SMART PSU product lines by adding Toughpower 550W, 650W and 750W 80Plus Gold certified as well as SMART 750W and 850W 80Plus Bronze certified PSUs. Thermaltake believes these five new power supplies will be able to fulfill mainstream users and enthusiasts power requirements. The Thermaltake SMART M850W is pictured below and is a modular power supply with a single +12V rail rated at 70 Amps and is backed by a 3-year warranty. Toughpower 550W, 650W and 750W 80Plus Gold Series:

Both 750W and 850W units pretty much similar to 450W, 550W and 650W with built in industrial-grade protections for over current, over Voltage, under voltage, over power and short-circuit protections and 14cm cooling fan with intelligent RPM control guarantees cool performance and silent operation. The differences in 750W and 850W are by adopting 100% high quality Japanese capacitors and adding DC-DC converter circuitry on top of double forward circuitry to ensure the efficiency and stability. Both of series are compliance with Intel ATX 12V 2.3 & SSI EPS 12V 2.92 standards and are guaranteed to deliver continuous power 24 / 7 @ 40.
