SuperPi is a pure CPU and memory benchmark so of course we see the overclocked system with a signifcantly lower time. While 1.3 seconds might not seem like much, that little bit of time saved every 17 seconds can quickly add up to huge chunks of time. When you consider that Work Units in folding at home can take well over 24 hours, the time needed to complete those can be lowered significantly.

As our final benchmark we look at memory bandwidth as seen by Sciencemark. The Team Group showed a very slight lead at 1GHz. The overclocked Super Talent memory showed an increase of 513MB/sec over the Team Group memory.
