The CoolIT Eliminator CPU Cooler Review
Test 1: The Normal User
Profile 1: The Normal User (No Overclocking)
- CPU Multiplier: 7x
- CPU voltage: 1.2000V
- FSB Voltage: 1.20V
- FSB: 1066MHz
- Memory Voltage: 2.20V
- Final CPU Frequency: 1.86GHz
Results: The test results show that the CoolIT Eliminator is by far the best cooler that I have ever used at stock settings. At idle, the Eliminator was running 2C cooler than the ambient room temperature, which was 20C. This is the first time we have been able to cool something below ambient! The Vigor Gaming Monsoon II Lite cooler might have a TEC on it, but it’s not in the same league as the Eliminator. The load temperatures on the Eliminator were actually lower than the idle temperatures on any of the other coolers, which is amazing!
Results: When it comes to power consumption, the Vigor Gaming Monsoon II Lite TEC Cooler uses the most power at load even though it has one TEC compared to the three TECs that are used on the Eliminator.
