Surface 2 Laptop Inventory runs Out Ahead of Microsoft Event

Early next month, Microsoft is having a hardware event for Surface goodies where new laptops are expected. The event is expected to see the launch of the Surface Laptop 3 and the Surface Pro 7.

As is typical ahead of new hardware hitting retailers, stocks of the Surface Laptop 2 have run dry reports Thurrott. The Surface hardware event is set for October 2nd.

Reports indicate that if you want a high-end device, there may still be some stock. A black Core i7 model with 16GB of RAM was still in stock, but all lower price options were gone.

Some excellent sales were going on for the Surface Laptop 2 that were undoubtedly meant to clear inventory. With only a few months before the holiday shopping season kicks off, we would expect any new Surface Laptop 3 models to get a nice discount for the holidays.
