CrystalDiskInfo 4.1.3:
CrystalDiskInfo is a great tool see see the S.M.A.R.T. information for drives that support it which is the case here. It also shows NCQ as enabled as well as TRIM.
In order to get the best performance from the drive, you must use the customized software and drivers that are provided by Super Talent. They are on the RC8 already and just need to be installed in the instance of Windows you are using.
The TurboHDD USB tool loads upon every boot (unless you manually remove it from startup) and allows the user to switch from normal to turbo mode. I can’t image why you’d want to go back to normal mode but the option is there. You can also click the GUI of the drive to change modes and “eject” the drive. Easy stuff.
We didn’t find a newer version available online but odds are good it will be updated at some point. On to the benchmarks!
