Spring Design Alex eReader Review
The Alex eReader
With the holidays right around the corner its a good time to start looking into great gift ideas, the Alex eReader is just that. A multifunctional powerhouse the Alex eReader is great for reading books, listening to music or even perusing the internet. With its Dual screen capabilities with one a 3.5 touchscreen Liquid crystal display and the other a 6 electronic paper display you can read your favorite book while listening to your music. So lets take a closer look at the specifics of the Alex eReader.
Made by Spring Design the Alex eReader is another addition to the eReader market. This one does come with a few more bells and whistles and a few more options than what is already out on the market right now. Starting with the design of the eReader itself, weighing in at 11oz the body of the eReader is very sleek but slightly longer than any of its competition. This works to your advantage with it being more comfortable to hold for long periods, also the EPD display on the larger 6 800 x 600 pixel screen does not cause eye strain. The smaller 3.5 480 x 320 LCD touch screen is a nice touch and can help the user to multi-task while reading.
The Alex eReader comes with quite a bundle; it includes the eReader, protective sleeve, 2 GB removable memory card, Earphones, USB power adaptor and USB cable. Also included is a small instructional booklet with the main highlights, however the entire users guide can be found the spring design website or on the eReader itself. To be honest however the eReader is very user friendly and easy to figure out with just using the highlight book.
