Sony PS4 Pro Limited-Edition Console Available Now

Sony has officially launched the slick looking translucent blue PS4 Pro limited-edition game console as of today, August 24. There are only 50,000 of these consoles that will be sold and getting your hands on one could be hard. The console will be available to purchase at GameStop, Amazon, Target, and Best Buy reports Polygon.

If you try and get one via Amazon, be prepared for scalpers to take you for a ride. While the MSRP is $499.99, third-party Amazon sellers are asking as much as $1,500 for the console. GameStop has confirmed that it will have a limited number of the units available to purchase, they did go on sale at midnight Friday morning.

GameStop made no indication of exactly how many consoles it would have and if each of its locations would be getting them. You cant buy the translucent PS4 via GameStop’s website. This console has a translucent controller, PlayStation camera, and a mono headset.

The camera and headset arent translucent. Each of the consoles is numbered and copper accents look very good with the translucent blue console.
