Sony locks down online accounts after security breach

By

The cyber world has not been kind to Sony as of late. They have been the victims of several hacks as well as a few goofs of their own. Now, it seems hackers are at it again, this time armed with “very large sets of sign-in IDs and passwords” which they used to access 60,000 accounts on the PlayStation and Entertainment Networks plus 33,000 more accounts on Sony Online Entertainment’s servers. Sony then proceeded to lock down those accounts and is attempting to contact customers as well as compensate them for the incident.
