AS SSD Benchmark

AS-SSD (2.0.6485.19676) Benchmark:

We have been running the AS-SSD Benchmark app for over some time now and found that it gives a broad result set. The programmer has worked very hard on this software and continues to make updates often so if you use it, show him some love and send him a donation. There are now three tests that are found within the tool and we’ll show the results from all three of them.

AS SSD – SM2262EN 2TB:

Benchmark Results: On AS SSD Benchmark, the SM2262EN reference drive had an overall score of 5,029 points with sequential read speeds of 2993.79 MB/s and 2616.51 MB/s write. The 4K random results were at 64.35 MB/s read and 174.31 MB/s write. The 4K-64Thrd IOPS were at 398,007 IOPS Read and 435,802 IOPS Write, which is pretty close to the drives rated 4K Random ratings of up to 420k IOPS read/write.

AS SSD Copy – SM2262EN 2TB:

Benchmark Results: The copy benchmark test results were ranging from 771.71 MB/s in the Program test to 2997.56MB/s in the ISO benchmark.

AS SSD Compression – SM2262EN 2TB:

Benchmark Results: For this benchmark chart you would ideally want to see a straight line as you dont want any compression performance loss as the test goes from 0% compressible to 100% compressible data during the benchmark test period. The SM2262EN 2TB reference drives read performance was flat like we wanted to see, but there were a few dips on the write side that were pretty severe with performance dropping below 1 GB/s on every test run.
