Final Thoughts on the Sentey GS-6050 II

Like most mid tower chassis’, the Sentey GS-6050 II is sturdy, light weight chassis that has a small foot print. Anyone that wants or needs a computer to be portable the will find the Sentey GS-6050 II chassis easily accommodating. This chassis also comes with all of the fans included, so that we do not have to purchase any extra fans.

The Sentey GS-6050 II has a tool-less design that makes installing computer hardware easy regardless of the level of expertise one has when it comes to working with computers. Another area I feel that makes this little chassis shine is the inclusion of being able to mount both 3.5″ and 2.5″ HDD/SSDs directly with out the need of special 2.5″ to 3.5″ HDD adapters; which, saves on installation confusion, and on money from having to purchase the adapters. You also have a single SuperSpeed USB 3.0 port on the front panel, which is nice if you are using a current mainstream platform as that is a standard feature now.

That said, I had a couple small gripes with the Sentey GS-6050 II chassis. There are two major areas I am more concerned with; space and cable management. If you plan on using anything larger than a standard ATX motherboard then you’ll likely have issues in this case. That is true with all ATX Mid Tower cases though, so fair enough. The next area is that there is little to no room in this case for cable management. I was unable to properly hide the main 24 pin PSU power cable and it ended up getting in the way of the GPU heatsink. I had to route it into the lower drive bays just so I can have some form of airflow on the lower portion of the motherboard and to keep the cable from interfering with the lower PCI expansion cards. If I would have used one of my non-modular (wired) power supplies this would have been even tougher. It Sentey would have added another 0.25″ of space behind the motherboard tray the wire routing and cable hiding would have been much easier.

The Sentey GS-6050 II can be found for $59.99 with free shipping over at Newegg. At that price this chassis is competitive with other cases on the market for this price. Newegg has 130 cases for sale in the $50-$75 price range, so a case really must be perfect to stand out from the crowd. If the Sentey Extreme Division GS-6050 III Halon Black case appeals to you when it comes to looks and want a Mid Tower case then give it a shot!

Legit Bottom Line:

If you are looking for a small ATX Mid Tower case that is under $60 shipped, the Sentey Extreme Division GS-6050 II Halcon Black might be the right case for you.
