In a twist of irony, British philanthropist Jimi Heseldon, owner of the Segway company, appears to have ridden one of his Segway scooters off a cliff on his private property and died as a result of the fall. It is not known at this time if this was caused by a malfunction or just a tragic accident. Police are still investigating and no foul play is suspected as this time.
