Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB OC Edition Video Card Review
Sapphire Retail Box and Bundle
The retail packaging for Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 video card comes with very nice retail packaging that is sure to catch your eye on store shelves. The front of the box clearly lists the key features of this AMD Radeon HD 7950 along with the unique Sapphire features like the fact that this card is overclocked and comes with the TriXX software utility.
On the back of the retail box you have the in-depth details on many of the features for the AMD Radeon 7950, a paragraph by Sapphire telling you this card is the best thing since sliced bread and award logos of a ton of irrelevant sites. Sapphire has added numerous sites awards to the back of the box over the years, but for some reason they have never included Legit Reviews. It’s more of a running joke now than anything, but still.
Inside the colorful packaging we find the video card in a static bag and held in place with a piece of cardboard.
Under the cardboard tray that holds the video card you’ll find the rest of the goodies that Sapphire includes with purchase. You’ll find a ton of fliers for other Sapphire products, a quick install guide, the driver disc, a CrossFireX bridge interconnect, a DVI-to-VGA adapter, a pair of 4-pin molex to 6-pin PCIe power adapters, a mini-DisplayPort to DVI adapter, a mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, a HDMI cable and a case badge. Retailers like Newegg are also including a free Dirt3 game coupon with the purchase of Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 video cards as well. This is a very robust bundle!
