AMD looks like they are trying to spoil the upcoming launch of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti by launching a Radeon HD 6950 1GB video card at $259.99 plus $8 shipping. This is basically a normal Radeon HD 6950 with half the memory and as a result the price and memory performance is lower. We just noticed that Newegg has listed the Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB board for sale this afternoon. It looks like AMD got their cards out the door first!
