Samsung ATIV Odyssey CPU Benchmarks
The Samsung ATIV Odyssey uses a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core Krait processor to keep things snappy and running smoothly on the smartphone. This is a fairly popular processor right now and it is the same processor used by many Android phones like the Nokia Lumia 920, Samsung Galaxy S III and HTC One X. The Samsung ATIV Odyssey has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, the storage is expandable with a micro SD slot supporting a card up to 64GB. Let’s take a look and see how the Samsung ATIV Odyssey performs in benchmarks like AnTuTu, Sunspider, Browsermark and WP Bench.
In the Antutu Benchmark v0.8.0 beta the Samsung ATIV Odyssey phone was able to hit a total score of 11778. When we previously tested the Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 it scored 9828, though it wasn’t able to complete the 2D graphics portion of the benchmark.
The Samsung ATIV Odyssey was able to score 248.29 points in the WP Bench which is higher than the Lumia 920 was able to score with only 231.67.
SunSpider is a popular browser javascript benchmark. Using Internet Explorer in the Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone 8 we were able to hit a score of 910.2ms.
The Rightware Browsermark 2.0 benchmark gave us an overall score of 1,860, this is faster than 58% of all phone browsers out there.
