Rumored NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Video Card Pictures Revealed
A number of sites have leaked images of what appears of the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan video card! At first glance the image looks like the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690, but it is certainly a different card. It appears that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan shares a similar design though as it has what looks like a magnesium alloy fan cooler shroud, clear acrylic window over the cooling fins and so on. The leaked images show that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan has both 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe power connectors, a pair of SLI bridges for a triple SLI setup and a backlit ‘GeForce GTX’ logo on top of the card. No new information on the specs, but it appears to be running the NVIDIA GK110 GPU and has 2688 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR5 on a 384-bit memory bus. This card should be a monster and we should find out soon if it is as usually when images leak out, the launch is close! You can follow the source link below for a dozen images of this card from various websites, so this appears to be the real McCoy!
Thanks to our Chinese and Egyptian friends we dont have to wait until NDA is lifted. The GTX Titan is packed with the GK110 GPU, which has 2688 CUDA cores. The card is clocked at 837/878 MHz for base and boost mode respectively, however, some reviewers already say that the boost mode is not working properly. This new addition to the NVIDIA lineup features 6GB of GDDR5 memory across a 384-bit interface. The memory itself is clocked at 6 GHz effective. Interestingly, there is no backplate, which would be a nice addition to these dual-sided memory chips. You can clearly see that it requires only 6+8pin power connectors, in turn this card should not require more than 250W of power.
