Rumor: More Details On NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 690 Surface

By

NVIDIA only recently released the GeForce GTX 680, however a source is now saying that they are readying the GTX 690 for release in May. The GeForce GTX 690, which will be a dual-GPU graphics card, is based on two NVIDIA GK104 cores. The card will come fitted with dual 8pin PCIE power connectors and will require a 650W power supply minimum. The GPU’s connectivity options will consist of three DVI ports and one mini DisplayPort. Rounding out the hardware features is of course full PCI-E 3.0 support, which should come in handy considering this is a dual-GPU card. The software side of things shows the GTX 690 having support for NVIDIA’s new Adaptive Vsync, GPU Boost, and of course TXAA technologies. Further details are however still unknown.
