Rumor Claims CoD Modern Warfare 2 is Getting Remastered

One of my favorite Call of Duty games has always been Modern Warfare 2. A rumor is floating around that the game is getting remastered. This is great news for fans, but there is word that the remastered game will have a big caveat that might turn some players off.

The caveat is that the game will be the single-player campaign only reports Forbes. That is great news for folks like me who dont care much for the online play and prefer a robust single-player campaign. This rumor got its start on the Amazon Italian website that showed the game launching this spring.

The Amazon listing showed that the game would sell for $25, nearly half the price of the game when it originally launched at $40. The original game was developed by Raven Software, but rumors indicate that developer isnt doing the remaster.

Speculation suggests that Beenox might be developing the remaster, that team helped Raven Software with the original game. As for a specific a lunch date, the Amazon listing showed April 30. We hope this rumor is true, but we are keeping the salt handy.
