On top of that, players will fight for their tickets to China at the ROCCAT booth, which will be the stage for the 2013 WCG Germany FIFA and SC2 finals.
Product offensive
ROCCAT kicks off the second half of the year at gamescom with a game-changing new product announcement. Day one of the event will see the new Kave XTD revealed, with only a few details having been made public on the ROCCAT Facebook page by that point. The closely-guarded secret has already been nominated for gamescoms Best Hardware award, and will be available for testing at the ROCCAT booth. For the first time ever in Germany, the ROCCAT Ryos MK Pro mechanical keyboard will be on display and ready for hands-on visitor testing. The Ryos series will hit store shelves in September.
Power-Grid open beta registration
After successful testing, the beta of the award-winning ROCCAT Power-Grid software will change its status from closed to open right after gamescom. At the ROCCAT booth, visitors can sign-up for the open beta at a special terminal. Together with the open beta, an all-new Power-Grid homepage will go live right after gamescom, providing all the information needed.
During the closed beta, ROCCAT implemented user feedback, optimized the usability and simplified the user interface of Power-Grid. Now both versions, for iOS and Android, are ready to take the download charts by storm.
Jaw-dropping ROCCAT booth and show program
ROCCAT well-known for bringing the heat to the show floor with its entertainment program will have a 400 square meter booth in hall 8.1, designed to stand out from the others.
During the five days of gamescom, ROCCAT host Florian Kamolz will welcome exciting guests and partners to the stage. Team Acer professional players will make several appearances. Partners such as TeamSpeak, Infernum and City Interactive will also feature on-stage. Fans will meet famous YouTubers when Florian welcomes German producers like EmCore, Underserial and Ungespielt and more on-stage on the 22nd of August. Expect a big crowd when the WCG 2013 Germany FIFA and StarCraft II finals take place at the ROCCAT booth. The best German players will fight for a ticket to represent their country at the WCG world finals taking place in China later in the year.
