The Aerocool Xfire is a massive heatpipe cooling solution that can be used Intel LGA775 and AMD K8 platforms granted that the Xfire can fit. This heat sink stands at 100mm tall and 120mm wide and uses a white 120mm fan with quad white LED’s to keep the ~100 cooling fins nice and cool. Intel has allowed for controlled benchmarking of their next generation Extreme series processor and Legit Reviews was on hand to take it out for a test drive. The Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 Processor operates at 2.66GHz and shows some serious processing muscle even though it’s all run on pre-production hardware. During the opening keynote speach Intel CEO Paul Otellini discussed in some detail the company?s plan for delivering the industry?s first quad core processors for PCs and high-volume servers. The first processor, targeted at gamers and content creators, will be shipped in November and be called the Intel Core 2 Extreme quad-core processor.
