Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Gets PC Release Date

By

Capcom has issued release dates for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. On March 20th in North America PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to get in on the action, PC Gamers will have to wait a couple months for a May 18th release. Capcom will be offering increased visual fidelity alongside NVIDIA 3D Vision support for those waiting on the PC version, sadly there will be no demo in which to see how much of a difference this will make. The “world of what-ifs” as Producer Masachika Kawata put it, has the game looking truly interesting to say the least, with a new approach to the Resident Evil canon. What are your thoughts on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City? Will the changes bring a fresh feel to the game or only make things worse? Time will tell as we get closer to the game’s release.

Those who wait for the PC version will get increased visual fidelity and Nvidia 3D Vision support, so you can weigh your options accordingly. ORC features a four-player campaign and eight-player online team battles in the middle of the titular city. Capcom has no plans to release a demo of the game.
