Raja Koduri Leaves Apple and Re-Joins AMD

We have been tipped off that Raja Koduri has accepted a position at AMD as corporate vice president, visual computing, according to our sources. Raja Koduri was most recently director of graphics architecture at Apple and was a powerful and influential member of AMD when he was last there as the Graphics Products Group as chief technology officer. For the past 4 years Raja has been at Apple working on graphics and we all know how that turned out for Apple. Now that Raja is back at AMD it will be interesting to see what happens. Obviously, it will be a 2-3 years before anything he changes goes into production, but it is a good sign!
