be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 and Dark Rock 4 CPU Coolers Debut At CES 2018
By
be quiet! was showing off a pair of new CPU coolers at CES 2018 that looked pretty sweet. Those two coolers would be the Dark Rock 4 and the Dark Rock Pro 4. The Dark Rock Pro 4 is the successor of Dark Rock Pro 3. It is a monster CPU cooler due out in Q2 2018 that can handle 250W TDP processors!
DARK ROCK PRO 4 Features:
- SilentWings 3 120mm PWM funnel shaped front fan: airflow-optimized blades, six-pole fan motor and FDB
- Inner SilentWings 135mm PWM fan features: airflow-optimized blades, six-pole fan motor and FDB
- Decoupled fan mounting
- Seven advanced high-performance copper heat pipes maximize heat conductance
- Special wave-contoured cooling fins for silent airflow
- Small dots on the fin surface form a larger cooling area
- Fins have improved RAM compatibility (bottom fins feature cut-outs for memory)
- Special black coating with ceramic particles for perfect heat transfer
- Brushed aluminum top cover with high-grade diamond cut finish
- Convenient top mounting (screwdriver included)
- 250W TDP
- Support for an additional 120mm fan
- Projected release: Q2 2018
If you don’t need something quite as big you should take a look at the Dark Rock 4, which his the successor of the dark Rock 3. This single fan cooler is rated to handle processors with a TD rating of up to 250W.
