QNAP Readies First-ever AMD-powered Ready NAS; Will Showcase Connected Home, Virtualization, Media Encoding/Playback Solutions

Las Vegas, NV, January 5, 2015 QNAP, Inc. is preparing to rock CES 2015 in Las Vegas with an upcoming announcement of a new line of NAS models that mark the launch of the latest AMD processor with some specialized circuitry for hardware-based video encoding/decoding based on the famed Radeon graphics architecture. The new AMD-powered units will also benefit from strong hardware encryption and virtualization capabilities offered by the new processor and thus will be a highly desirable networked storage solution for SMBs and video professionals.
