PUBG Mobile War Mode Update Available
Mobile gamers on iOS and Android have an update out for PUBG that brings in a new mode to enjoy. That new mode is War Mode and it is meant to be a supplement to the first-person perspective mode that the mobile game received last month. War Mode challenges teams to be the first to reach 100 points in the mobile game.
The action sees players respawn after a death and earn three points for killing an opponent, one point for killing a downed opponent, and one point for saving a teammate. The update also adds in a new clan system. That clan system lets players “create and customize unique clan icons and work to earn exclusive rewards by climbing in ranks and completing challenges,” reports Game Rant.
These new updates show that PUBG is working hard to keep the mobile version of the game and versions on PC and Xbox on par with each other. The stiff competition in the battle royale realm is another reason that PUBG is working hard on updates to keep players happy.
Fortnite has taken the top spot as the most popular battle royale game. Fortnite makes $2 million per day via its mobile versions. PUBG wants some of that mobile gaming revenue and updates for iOS and Android will help it to earn its share.
