Prolimatech Takes CPU Coolers To New Heights – Shows Off Massive HSF

By

You have a good idea of what a large CPU cooler looks like in your head right? You might need to update that mental picture because the engineers over at Prolimatech have developed a monstrous CPU cooler that is crazy looking. We don’t know what the new cooler is called, but it uses four aluminum cooling fin arrays that are kept cool by using up to five fans! If you thought the Prolimatech Genesis heatsink was crazy big, we can’t wait to hear what you think about this one!

It looks like this cooler has five heat pipes, but without a base shot we can’t tell if they are continuous or not. If they are each one heat pipe that means that each have six bends in them! Could all those bends hurt performance or are they mandrel bent? We hope we get one in for testing to find out! If you thought the Prolimatech Genesis heatsink was crazy big, we can’t wait to hear what you think about this one!

Translation for source: “This is a radiator series tower design to achieve the ultra-large-scale heat pipe of the four towers, or we can use the “Giant monster (giant monster)” to describe. Connected by a U-shaped heat pipe cooling tower and cooling tower, cooling tower middle empty spacing is a heat sink with heat pipe using a flattening of welding process in order to meet the installation of the X79 platform memory…”
