Pre-Order Pricing On AMD’s Piledriver-Based CPUs Leaked

Pricing on AMD’s soon to be released Piledriver-based CPUs has been leaked. Pre-order prices for the entire range of mainstream chips has them priced attractively, should they deliver on performance. The FX 4300 (3.8GHz) is priced at $131.62, while the FX 6300 (3.5GHz) is priced at $175.77. The processors everyone’s really waiting on, the eight core FX 8320 (3.5GHz) and FX 8350 (4GHz), will be priced at $242.05 and $253.06 respectively. These new CPUs should be available soon, maybe even as soon as October first, but that remains to be seen. With that said AMD hasn’t slowed its pace, Piledriver may be releasing soon but the company is already pushing Steamroller which will be the third generation of Bulldozer CPUs.
