I like to listen to music when I am at home, in the car, working out, just about everywhere today. When I was a student, I listened to music when I studied or hanging out on campus. Lately, Ive been wanting to shut out my environment at work not that I dont like my co-workers, no but because there is just a bunch of noise when entire group starts to create. Normally, I just grab my earbuds but I can still hear the flock of seagulls in the background. To drown out the background noise, I usually have to crank up the volume to uncomfortable levels.

Like most noise cancelling sets, the Polk UltraFocus 8000 are quite large with ear swallowing padded drivers. There is a hint of carbon fiber in the design making the headsets look sleek but probably elevating some of the weight.
