PlayStation Network was Down Yesterday

If you are a PS4 owner who had a tough time getting any gaming fun in yesterday, you arent alone. The PlayStation Network (PSN) was having issues yesterday that saw every service but the PS Vue having problems for a while reports GameSpot. The Gaming and Social categories were buggered with the PSN status page noting that ” You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features.”

PlayStation Support was also on twitter letting gamers who were frustrated and wondering if the issue was them or the PSN know what was going on. The tweet read, “We’re aware that users are having issues accessing some features on PSN. Thanks for your patience as we investigate.”

As for what caused the outage, we dont know at this point. One of the most common problems is something unexpected that happens when updates are being made to the PSN.

Popular game companies were warning users that they might experience issues with playing games. In other words, they wanted users to know it was the PSN, not their games having problems.
