Philips Launches New Brilliance Monitor with LightFrame Technology

Philips have launched a new addition to their Brilliance range of monitors in Singapore, priced at S$399. Their new monitor (model 248X3LFHSB) looks much like any other TN-based W-LED 1080p Full HD 23.6″ display, except that it has their new LightFrame feature. This lights up the bezel surrounding the display panel with a soft blue glow which is designed to reduce eye strain and promote a “feeling of well being”. Other features of the monitor are an aluminium base with a two-toned glossy finish and connectivity featuring two HDMI ports and a VGA port, analog audio in/out and HDMI audio out. It also has SmartKolor which extends the color range for a richer picture and SmartTXT which enhances the clarity and legibility of text.
