Persona 5 Anime Lands in 2018
Fans of the Persona 5 video game that also happen to be anime fans will be glad to hear that the anime for the new game is landing next year. It’s no real surprise that an anime is coming for the video game, Persona 3 has movies, “Persona 4: The Golden Animation” has been around, and there is that “Episode 0 of Persona 5 the Animation: The Day Breakers.”
All of that past anime base on the video games was from Altus and the new anime series will be called simply enough “Persona 5 the Animation” reports Twinfinite The success of Persona 5 was basically a guarantee that the new anime was in the world, the game has shipped nearly 2 million copies so far. The full details about the new anime show aren’t available at this time, but there is a trailer floating around.
There are still lots of questions about the series, like if we will be able to watch it in the US. There is no indication of if it will be in English or dubbed at this time. Persona 5 launched in Japan back in September 2016, and game to the rest of the world in April 2017.
“The Day Breakers” we mentioned above is said to be available on Crunchyroll. The game follows a bunch of students who discover their Persona powers and become masked vigilantes. If you have never played the game, it has RPG elements, dungeon exploration style gameplay and social interaction elements.
