OCZ Technology today unveiled its all new Gold Series, 4GB (4096MB) modules and 8GB dual-channel kits for current and next generation platforms. OCZ Gold Series 4GB modules 8GB Dual Channel kits run at 1333MHz CAS 9, operating at a voltage specification of 1.65 volts. I remember back in 2002 that having a DDR1 module running 400MHz with a density of 256MB was impressive. Crazy seeing 4GB DDR3 modules becoming mainstream at 1333MHz! It looks like 8GB will be a standard memory size by the end of the year!
