OCZ Demonstrates Hybrid HDD/SSD PCIe SSD at Computex 2011

By

OCZ is demonstrating the first hybrid HDD/SSD PCIe SSD from the RevoDrive series of storage devices at Computex 2011. The RevoDrive Hybrid uses a PCIe x4 connection interface and uses four SandForce SF-2200 controllers running in RAID 0! The end result is up to 575MB/s read and 500MB/s write and 30,000 IOPS for 4K random write. You can add a 2.5-inch notebook hard drive or another SSD if you would like some extra storage space. OCZ is going to release the RevoDrive Hyrbid in capacities of 240-960GB with prices starting at $699.
