What Are The NZXT Premium Cables For?

So what exactly are the NZXT Premium cables for? They are for the computer user who is very particular about the way the interior of their computer looks. Let’s say, for instance, that you don’t have a power supply that has all of its wires sleeved by the manufacturer and you don’t want the inside of your case to look like a plate of red, yellow and black pasta. All you need to do is hide the red, yellow, and black wires somewhere in the case and attach the NZXT Premium cables to the ends that you would normally connect to your devices and connect the other end of the premium Cables to your devices. That way the colored wires are out of sight and the Black, Red, or White sleeved wires of the Premium Cable is all you see now.

Or, let’s say you do in fact have a sleeved power supply, but all of the individual wires are bundled into one sleeve and you want a modern robotic type look that the individually sleeved wires provide. One of the first things you notice after you take one of the cables out of their package is that sturdy feel that signifies a quality product. There is absolutely nothing “Cheap” about this set of cables. Once you get them in your hands you know right away that they were made to last. One of the first ones I opened and installed was the 24 pin motherboard power connector. In my case the cable was bent in the wrong direction in the package, but all I had to do was bend it in the correct direction and kind of roll it back and forth and, after a few minutes, it was bent in the right direction and ready to be installed. Using the NZXT Premium Cables is as easy as snapping two ends together and requires no tools at all.

If I didn’t know better I would think that these babies were custom made to fit into the NZXT Phantom case. I used these cables to do the interior of my NZXT Phantom and it replaced what could have been a huge mess of wires, and because of the black color of the case and the Premium Cable sleeves it makes the interior of my case look like there are actually fewer wires than there are. Also, they were really easy to run, especially in a larger case such as the Phantom. The only cables that I wish were part of this set were the sleeved SATA cables; these would have been a really nice addition to a great set of cables.

The Legit Bottom Line: Built to last by a company that is well known for quality enthusiast products. The NZXT Premium Cables will make any case look better than it ever did without them. Installation is a snap, and they have a cable for just about any application you may need it for.
