NZXT Lexa S Mid Tower PC Case Review
Moving Inside
Now that we have taken a look at the outside form of the case, we get to take a look at the inside function of the case. The first thing you notice when opening up the side of the case is the all black interior. Having a finished interior gives the look of a custom case without the hassle.
Below you can see the wires for the fans, front panel, USB, E-SATA, and audio ports. Also note the cut out behind the processor. That comes in handy when switching CPU coolers. It is nice not having to pull the motherboard out.
Taking a look in the cardboard box in the corner reveals the chassis screws, screws for the optical drives, motherboard screws, instructions, and rails for the hard drives.
Five sets of hard drive rails come with the NZXT Lexa S for tool-less drive installation.
Below we can see that the holes that come pre-punched for cable management are nicely fit with grommets. The grommets will protect your cables from the edges of the motherboard tray and prevent them from damage.
