The Inside

You knew it was inevitable that we had to move to the inside of the case, and upon arriving inside the case we can see something that I don’t know if I have mentioned yet: the inside of the case is black. Not only is it black but it is spacious. When I first took off the side panel and took a look at the inside of the case, it didn’t look all that big. But once I stated installing parts into it I soon found that I had way more room to do what I needed to do than it appeared. Much like the outside of the case the inside seems to have a seamless paint job and there appear to be no unpainted surfaces at all over the entirety of the case. How they did this and kept the price so low is a mystery to me as most cases that are painted inside and out seem to be at the higher price spectrum. Moving on we can see that there are nine drive bays (four external and five internal). A huge plus here is that the internal drive bays are rotated 180 degrees so that drive access is simple and easy, and wiring this bad boy is not a huge hassle. We will talk about wiring a bit later in the article as this was a huge plus point for this case as well.

Inside the drive bays we can see that NZXT has securely attached the box that contains all of our screwless drive mounting rails, as well as our motherboard standoffs and optical drive attachments. The wiring harness on the inside of the case includes all of the usual suspects. You have your audio connections, your USB connections, your firewire connections, and the ever popular motherboard harness. Everything on the inside of the case is screwless, although for the 3.5 bays you do have to screw the rails to your drives. But hey, that’s not a hassle at all and I was able to do it in no time and if I can do it, you guys will have no problems with it.

Aside from what I have already mentioned, the rest of the inside of the case is fairly standard and is pretty much on par with the other cases in its class. This section is going to be a bit short due to the fact that I am going to cover much much more about the inside of the case in the very next section of the review.
