NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti SLI Review with NVLink
Strange Brigade
Strange Brigade is a cooperative third-person shooter video game developed and published Rebellion Developments. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 28, 2018. In the game, the player fights against different mythological enemies and solves puzzles.
Strange Brigade runs on the Azure engine, which is an in-house engine created specifically for this game
Strange Brigade was benchmarked the DirectX 12 API with ultra image quality settings with Async Compute enabled. V-Sync was disabled and we used the game titles built-in game benchmark.
Benchmark Results: Strange Brigade showed 93% SLI scaling on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and that is insane. We went from 92.2 FPS on average with one card and managed to hit an average of 177.8 FPS with two running in SLI with the NVLink bridge connector. The minimum frame rate only improved by 21%, so that would be one area that NVIDIA could try to find ways to better optimize for.
